Testimonials
Ange has been nothing but helpful for me and my business. Ange has given me work and continues to pass on work to me. As a sovereign first nations traditional owner and sole tourism operator, Ange gives me the best opportunity to thrive. She is always trying to help. Ange helps indigenous people all over Australia to help highlight their businesses in fishing tours, a lot of them are customised around the client which I believe is important. Ange is very easy to work with and the work I do for Go Fish Australia always brings me pleasure and great satisfaction. Ange works hard to set up the tours on offer.
Andrew Watego – Pulan Pulan Fisheries and Cultural Tours.
Ange visited Nyinyikay in early 2019 as a guest of the Ganambarr and Burarrwanga family, and as arranged by Lirrwi Yolngu Aboriginal Tourism. After many days of immersing herself into the daily life of the homeland and getting to know its very gracious hosts, she proposed a new specialist market for Nyinyikay Dhä Wuba to support the current cultural tourism
initiatives – fishing packages.
The next 18 months would see her liaising with us on developing an overall itinerary, setting up a blueprint for each component of the package and working with the family to suggest costs for each of these elements. This included transport, accommodation, meals, fishing guides, activities and sales and marketing efforts. Ange provided all of this to us on a pro-bono basis. Though this project was progressing well, it has been slowed down by the arrival of the
Coronavirus. We continue to stay in contact and will wait until we are all able to travel again.
